Fuck What You Love #5

Fuck What You Love is a zine about popstar crushes, featuring writing from women and LGBTQ+ people. The zine celebrates the importance of crushing on musicians to marginalised music fans, and gives voice to passions that are often dismissed as silly or trite by cishet male music critics. Issue 5 features illustration and writing on crushes including FKA twigs, Perfume Genius. Tegan and Sara and Christine and the Queens, with writers from around the world addressing subjects such as forging friendships through thirst, mums crushing on popstars, and discovery of self through queer crushes.

The zine is a 44-page A5 publication, black and white inside with a dreamy pale pink cover. It’s edited by Claire Biddles, designed by Kate Dunstone, and features images by six different illustrators throughout.
